What are the classes of seed?

Foundation Seed: progeny of breeder seed, source of the certified seed classes
Registered Seed: progeny of the foundation seed, handled to maintain its genetic diversity, and purity. produces certified seed
Certified Seed: progeny of the foundation seed. production is handled to maintain genetical identity and physical purity, minimum genetical purity of 99%. cannot exceed two generations beyond foundation seed,
