Governance

Governance refers to the interaction and decision-making processes among the government, citizens, and various stakeholders, which shape how policies are implemented and public services are delivered. It is a complex mechanism that outlines how the government operates while being accountable for fulfilling its responsibilities. Governance involves multiple actors, including government bodies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), civil society, and the service sector.

The government plays a central role by formulating laws, regulations, and policies. NGOs and INGOs support the government by extending services to different sections of society, especially marginalized groups. Civil society and other non-governmental entities, on the other hand, act as watchdogs, critiquing government actions and advocating for transparency and accountability. The service sector contributes by generating employment and supporting economic activities.

In this framework, the government functions as a facilitator, ensuring that all stakeholders collaborate effectively to achieve societal goals, maintain equity, and promote sustainable development.
